"The only way today we can guarantee our foods are not pesticided, irradiated, herbicided, or GMO is to grow our own food. We have created this workshop to support people in growing their own food, in all four seasons. We have in our garden a greenhouse technology system, which we teach you to use to grow sustainable organic food that can support four to six people, which can be your family or a small group of friends. We are very pleased to be offering this." – Rabbi Gabriel Cousens, M.D.

"Cultivators of the Earth are the most valuable citizens." – Thomas Jefferson

"The truth is that growing food is the most basic activity of human civilization, not some mysterious industrial process. You do not need a large scale operation. Your food is now produced in bits and pieces around the year. You are integrating the garden into your life the same way you integrate other important activities, such as helping your children with homework, playing catch and talking with them, sharing in household chores, and helping out the neighbors. You don’t hire others to do those jobs. You do them yourself because they are meaningful, joyful, and important to your family’s spiritual welfare. Your food is of no less importance." – Eliot Coleman, Four Seasons Harvest

Great for family, individual, and community health, well-being, and sustainability!
