Living Essene Way comprises the seminal foundation for the Essene Priesthood. These workshops continually evolve, with each one being unique within the customary foundation. Essene Priests and Priestesses attend these workshops yearly for inspiration and renewed support in their spiritual practice from Rabbi Gabriel Cousens.
The workshops bring any spiritual student the opportunity to connect with the Ancient Essene-Kabbalistic-Prophetic divine path.
Participants receive the rare treat of immersing in the principles of Living Essene Way, Kabbalah, Mystical principles of the Living Torah, Ophanim (Hebrew Yoga), Ruach Ha Kodesh meditation (meditation of the Ancient Prophets), daily Essene Communions, nature experience, and Kosher, organic, vegetarian live-food cuisine.

Living Essene Way I & II
The Living Essene Way workshops, offered in two levels, can be taken individually or consecutively; Living Essene Way One is a prerequisite for Living Essene Way Two. These Essene workshops cradle Rebbe Gabriel Cousens's Essene Healing Training; all three are offered over a ten day period each August to help facilitate the ordination process for the Priesthood initiate.
Living Essene Way One: Historical-Contemporary, Mysticism, Essene Healing Approach (Four days; offered before Living Essene Way Two) This workshop helps one to connect with the modern message of the Essene lineage and Essene archetype ideal. In this workshop one will purify in the Mikveh (sacred healing pool) and become initiated into the ancient, eternal, Essene Way. This powerful and sacred program is led by Senior Essene Teacher, Rebbe Gabriel Cousens, with special guest Kevin Ryerson, world-renowned intuitive. Students receive teachings and wisdom that enhance ones ability to hold and express the energy of the Divine. In this course, students:
- Investigate the Kabbalistic Tree of Life
- Hear intuitive messages from Kevin Ryerson who has been receiving instructive information on the Essenes since the 1970s.
- Purify in the Mikvah – the Sacred Essene Ceremonial Pool
- Feast on Living Essene Vegan Raw Food Cuisine

Living Essene Way II: Deeper Mystical Wisdom, the Ophanim Training Plus…(Four days; offered after Living Essene Way One – Prerequisite: Living Essene Way, Level I)
Living Essene Way Two takes one into the profound mysticism of the Essenes and the mystery of the Ophanim, which is the yogic energetics of the Hebrew letters and the sustained understanding of the Essene Way in contemporary life.

This remarkable workshop, which can be taken anew yearly, includes topics and ceremonies that evolve out of each group dynamic. Join Rebbe Gabriel Cousens, senior Essene teacher, and Kevin Ryerson, world-renowned intuitive, in an extraordinary in-depth exploration of the Way of the Essenes – a mystical journey of awakening that opens the door to the Heart of God. Gabriel Cousens, M.D., M.D. (H). D.D. (Doctor of Divinity), Dip American Board of Holistic Medicine, Dip Ayurveda, Senior Essene Teacher, pastoral Rabbi, and world-respected and acknowledged enlightened spiritual teacher by both his liberated spiritual teachers. Gabriel Cousens is also a noted peace worker, author, and the primary professor, founder and director of the Human School of Living Arts.
Kevin Ryerson is an acclaimed author, award-winning consultant, expert intuitive, and futurist in the tradition of Edgar Cayce and Jane Roberts. For over 30 years, Ryerson has been lecturing and teaching in the field of parapsychology and spirituality. Kevin Ryerson studied the historical Essene Way of Life as lived at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Foundation. As an original board member he has worked with Gabriel for many years, researching and teaching the Essene Way of Life.
