Whole Person Healing: Personal Health & Wellness Program
"My repeat destination for integrated healing and positive transformation." - Ayman Sawaf, Author of Emotional Intelligence in Leadership & Organizations, Co-Founder & CEO of URTH.tv
Our Tree of Life Whole Person Healing uses a personalized, integrated, holistic approach to health. The Medical Professionals observe and assess a variety of dimensions and perspectives to provide a more all-encompassing view of your overall state of health. This approach differs distinctly from using multiple healing techniques with inputs from a variety of different practitioners. It allows a healing partnership to evolve between you and your physician as you work together to apply and administer multiple healing modalities. The result is a perspective of you as a total being. This evolves and guides your therapeutic plan in a way and at a pace that uniquely fits you. Your therapeutic plan includes specific diet, nutrition, and exercise programs, psychological awareness training, meditation, lifestyle changes, and nutritional and natural medicinal supplements designed to bring your body-mind-spirit into greater balance and harmony.
WPH Evaluation and Counseling
Because the WPH program aims to rebalance the biological, psychological, and spiritual systems, relief of symptoms may take longer than the traditional allopathic approach. Symptoms may begin to disappear in weeks in some cases, and may take two or more years in others. Achieving optimum health and balance in all of the body’s systems often takes two years or more.
Your degree of commitment to your health program determines its rate of success. The Tree of Life physicians do not focus on or assume responsibility for making diagnoses of pathological disease processes such as cancer. Instead, they aim to discover the underlying psycho-pathophysiologic spiritual processes that keep one from enjoying optimum health. Because the WPH program aims to rebalance the biological, psychological, and spiritual systems, relief of symptoms may take longer than the traditional allopathic approach.
Our three day, individualized assessment involves two days testing and a consultation with one of our expert physicians on the third day. This assessment is designed to provide you with a comprehensive, accurate, and clear understanding of your level of physical health. Additionally, it is designed to determine how you metabolize and utilize food, so that your diet can be individualized for your optimal success on a plant-based diet. This includes finding out what ratio of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats are best for your body and what foods would be beneficial to increase or decrease.
Whole Person Healing Tests
- Biological Terrain Assessment (BTA) – The BTA measures “pH,” “redox,” and “resistivity.” These values provide information about the acidity and alkalinity of your body, how the enzymes in your body are functioning, and how you are digesting and absorbing vitamins and minerals. This test can alert you and your practitioner if certain chemical or biological stresses are causing you to be more susceptible to illness. This test measures subtle yet potent influences on your system that standard laboratory tests are not equipped to detect or measure. It also helps to detect the presence of fungi, pollutants, viruses, xenobiotics, vitamin or mineral deficiency, oxygen deficiency, and excessive carbon dioxide. It requires an overnight fast, a urine sample, a saliva collection, and a venipuncture (puncture of a vein) blood draw. ($185)
- Bio-Brain-Balance Test (BBB) – Helps to determine your metabolic/autonomic constitution and therefore your optimum dietary pattern. It involves eating specific foods and administering a venipuncture blood draw once every two hours, for a total of four blood draws. ($200)
- Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) – Measures blood glucose and tests for hypoglycemia or elevated blood sugar as it occurs in diabetes. It involves ingesting a sweet drink and measuring blood sugar levels with a series of tiny finger sticks. ($100)
- Dark/Dry Field Blood Analysis – The health of the blood is an indicator of the health/toxicity of the body. This analysis reveals the degree of fungal and toxic metabolic by-products that affect the organs and tissues. It involves a tiny finger stick to obtain blood drops for microscopic analysis. ($85)
- OxiData Test (ODT) ~ The ODT determines the level of free radical activity in the body. High levels of free radicals damage cells, creating disease and increased aging. ($25)
- Uri-Scan Test ~ A dipstick test to check for indicators such as blood, leukocytes, ketones, nitrites, proteins, and bilirubin in the urine. ($10 – Uri-Scan is included in the BTA Test).
WPH Follow-up
When participating in WPH, we recommend that you spend at least one week at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center integrating the new awareness and lifestyle changes you have created. This also gives you the opportunity to participate in any detoxifying rejuvenation treatments recommended by your doctor. These treatments are designed to help you maximize your WPH program results. Although additional fees apply, we urge you to consider these valuable adjunct therapies. Once you have completed your initial WPH evaluation, it may be important to have follow-up appointments with your physician in order to refine your healing program and achieve optimum results. The second visit is usually 6-8 weeks following the initial visit. (It may be done via phone consultation in some cases.) During this appointment your supplement program may be revised, often reducing the cost. You may also schedule additional telephone consultations at any time for medical evaluations.
