WARRIOR WOMEN

Call of the Wild - A Message for Warrior Women

Posted by: Administrator on 6/29/2011

To all Warrior Women walking in the path of Spirit, Truth and Adventure,

The warrior woman flows with the times and what they demand of her life. Do you know that your mission is for your spirit to grow, and for your spirit’s expression to have a signature all your own? Be aware of this mission through meditation, insight or vision, then you can expand outside all patterns that hold you back, and connect with your sacred design.

By using self-awareness and introspection on a daily basis, you strengthen your mind. As you overcome your fears and limitations, you become free to move in any direction. As you go deeper within yourself, you may need the help of a “wise one” whom you respect, that can council you or can shed some light on the ancient wisdom of the sages and how their wisdom may help you.

As you begin to free yourself of limitations, you naturally extend into higher service. A warrior needs focus, not profit. The first step is to look through this world of glitter and glamour, and say, “I don’t believe it.” Living beyond the illusion of the matrix, a warrior woman is daring to be more than she could ever be within it.

Start simply by realigning yourself with the earth cycles of the sunrise and sunset, nodal times of the seasons, and cycles of the celebrations. This will help to align you with the living planet rather than always being a slave to the matrix of time. To do this, you may need to simplify your daily activities, especially if you live in a city. In this way, you will become connected to life’s cosmic flow. Sunrise is a powerful time to set intentions for your day. Waking early is a challenge many of us face!

Roll out your yoga mat! In pranayama (breathing practices) and asana (postures) you can learn deep breathing and physical alignments through a qualified teacher. The Yoga I teach is Kali Ray TriYoga®, and there are certified teachers in most states and worldwide that you can contact. TriYoga teaches the essence of flow and strength. Discipline is the hallmark of a warrior. A student once said to a teacher, “ I find it hard to get out of bed, to practice and to eat well.” The teacher replied, “ Yoga and Warriorship is not for weaklings!” As Dan Macmillian said, “ Urges may persist for years. Urges do not matter, actions do.” Persist as a warrior!

In all this, it helps to keep a sense of humor, as humor helps us to stretch beyond the limited perceptions of our boundaries. We are empowered by simply changing the angles of our minds.

* * * Suggestions for Enhancing the Warrior Woman in YOU* * *

Asanas: Try the standing series—The Warrior and the Triangle. These poses bring strength, endurance and help to open the hips. Enjoy these postures in your home or find a yoga class in your area.

Essential Aroma Oils: Experiment with Rosemary. Inhale the aromas from the bottle or dilute 6 drops in 8ml of jojoba oil and rub on the soles of your feet. Rosemary enhances mental clarity, boosts alertness, and strengthens the immune system.

Astrology: Become aware of the planetary alignment as this affects our being on many levels.

Do you know what phase the moon is in now?

More to share on moon cycles and Shamanic Astrology in the next article. Stay tuned!

Be the best warrior you can be in your own life.
